About the Role
As Employee Benefits Consultant, Account Executive, you are a senior member of the service team and lead consultant at a sophisticated benefits brokerage with responsibility for personally managing a large book of business as the strategic liaison. Experience needed includes:
- Proficiency with multiple plan strategies as accounts will vary from a few hundred lives to much larger
- Ability to direct customer service activities of the account management, getting involved on tactical issues where needed, to ensure timely and efficient organization of daily workflows, processing, and renewal prep
- Be active in the market regularly meeting with underwriters, vendors, and on-site with the clients during review meetings and renewal presentations
- Capitalize on referral opportunities and grow the portfolio by recommending additional policies and programs that generate new revenue
