A large, progressive insurance broker that’s been a standard-bearer for risk management excellence for more than a century is hiring an Employee Benefits Account Manager in their Detroit office. You will support a seasoned sales and service team with daily service duties and client engagement/relationship strategies on a legacy book of mid-sized accounts in the 50-500 ees range.

Location: Detroit, MI; Columbus, Cincinnati, Akron, and Cleveland, OH; Pittsburgh, PA
Responsibilities:
- Relationship development and renewal management with current clients.
- Executing daily service strategies (preparing & writing proposals, providing quote comparisons, performing benchmarking & financial underwriting review).
- Creating coverage specifications, analyzing quotes & negotiating with carriers, and creating/presenting coverage analysis.
Experience: At least three (3) years of group life & health insurance industry experience. Must have an active L&H insurance license. The book has self-funded accounts, so exposure to this is ideal but the agency can train on these nuances if our background is primarily fully insured cases.
