About the Role
100% remote job opportunity with a Top 100 independent insurance brokerage as Employee Benefits Account Executive. This role is a highly visible, client facing position that requires travel as needed for strategic meetings with clients on-site. These are larger, complex accounts typically under self-funded arrangements. As a trusted advisor who coordinates the entire service process, the scope of your role includes:
- Client relationship management to include building tailored service plans, quarterly meetings, regular account review, and troubleshooting service issues
- Strategic consulting to include recommendations on plan design, funding arrangements, and cost containment strategies
- Renewal and market management
- Vendor and operations coordination
Skills & Experience
- Minimum five (5) years in employee benefits client service with an independent retail agency/brokerage
- Requires strong client and market facing experience, dealing directly with TPAs and underwriters on plan design, stop-loss marketing, compliance, benefits administration, and technology integration
- Active state insurance license
- Ability to travel if and when required
