Commercial Insurance Leader, Client Service Manager

About the Role

An independent insurance agency is adding to its leadership team with this role- Commercial Insurance Leader, Client Service Manager. With responsibility for managing account managers and support staff, you’ll have many ways to impact the team’s success in this newly created position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Train, oversee, and manage the daily workflow and performance of approximately 7-10 direct reports
  • Strengthen carrier and vendor relationships
  • Conduct staff reviews and coaching
  • Participate in department hiring
  • Lead customer service resolution issues
  • Workflow management and process improvement

Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of five (5) years of commercial insurance experience is required with a deep understanding of the client service process, client retention strategies, and team leadership in areas like mentoring, team building, goal setting, or performance management
  • Active state insurance license
