Commercial Insurance Client Executive – National Accounts

About the Role

100% remote, work-from-home job opening for a Commercial Insurance Client Executive with considerable experience handling insurance programs for National Accounts. This role is with one of the largest insurance broker’s Renewable Energy division. Prior experience with clean energy accounts is not required.

 

The team can teach you the nuances of risk programs for businesses in this space. What is required is experience working with large accounts (minimum $200k in revenue, some nearing close to $1MM in agency revenue). You won’t have a huge learning curve if you’ve led client management for national accounts because renewable energy insurance has many risk factors seen apply to other industries- including surety and bonding, construction/Builder’s Risk, and mergers and acquisitions. Some accounts start small and grow rapidly; others within your portfolio will be substantial when you take them over.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your role is heavily focused on client development, client consultation, and marketing/brokering activities. Keys to your success include:

  • Ability to support producers with client management, consulting, and relationship building initiatives.
  • Lead renewal marketing strategies working closely with underwriters to gather submission information, review quotes, compile summaries, and create proposals in a timely manner.
  • Work with team members to ensure client satisfaction. Address and resolve client issues pertaining to policy changes, billing, contract reviews, coverage analysis, and program recommendations. 

Skills & Experience

  • At least 7-8 years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience with a substantial focus in client management, risk consulting, and marketing/brokering activities.
  • Able to assume a lead role managing the entire account life cycle: pre & post-renewal as well as client visits, presentations, and in-person reviews.
  • Active insurance license.

Job Specs

Location: 100% remote, work-from-home.
Travel: Expect regular travel, at least 1-2 times per month.
