About the Role
At the highest level of client advocate, stewardship, and consultation, the VP, Commercial Lines Client Executive is part of a large insurance agency and responsible for all strategic relationship management. You coordinate service and placement activities to meet the client’s risk management needs. You design and consult with clients on insurance coverage and services. You proactively manage the business relationship with a solutions-driven approach.
Duties & Responsibilities
You have a panoramic view of account development and consulting. Here is a little more on the scope of your role:
- Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) response process.
- Participate in new business opportunities including account rounding. Help meet the expectations for increased profitability, revenue growth, and client retention.
- Manage and implement the renewal strategies.
- Closely collaborate with marketing, broking, and sales to design individual sales strategies and grow pipelines for new and existing clients.
- Identify, engage, and integrate delivery of all internal resources to deliver on the client experience.
- Design, prepare, negotiate, and deliver presentations, proposals, compensation agreements, advocacy reports, and service plans/schedules to clients.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum seven (7) years of commercial insurance experience in a client-facing role.
- Demonstrated success in relationship building at the C-suite level involving discussions about program design, coverage/pricing negotiations, risk management resources, and more.
- Insurance P&C License will be required.
