About the Role
The Employee Benefits Account Manager opening is a great fit if you want to work for an insurance agency that can set you on a track to become a senior client manager. You’ll work alongside other account managers to support an Account Executive and Managing Producer.
Duties & Responsibilities
Here’s a little bit about what you can expect at your desk each day:
- Marketing cases (fully insured and self-funded)
- Daily customer service requests
- Employee meetings
- Renewal prep and marketing
Job Specs
The book of business you’ll help service is approximately $1.5MM in revenue with 25-35 mid-sized group accounts.
Skills & Experience
- At least 2-3 years of group medical client service experience; agency experience is highly preferred
- Can partner with underwriters- communicate and negotiate
- Ability to participate in and/or run enrollment meetings and work with clients on any other policy review and stewardship issues
Compensation, Benefits, & Perks
- $70k-$90k + full benefits, 401k, and unlimited PTO policy
- Hybrid office & work-from-home schedule; the agency requires at least two days in the office each week
