About the Role
As Employee Benefits Account Manager- Small Group, you join a Virginia based insurance agency that offers customized, creative health and welfare solutions. The agency seeks someone with a passion for client service who can balance behind-the-scenes policy management with client engagement regarding policy, service, and enrollment matters for small group cases up to 100 lives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- You strengthen relationships with clients, helping them with benefits administration and answering questions about coverage, claims, and billing issues
- You lead several key moments within the life cycle of their account including plan implementation, renewal preparation, case submissions, and enrollment meetings
Skills & Experience
- Active state insurance license
- Minimum of three (3) years in client service working with group health and welfare benefits plans
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
