About the Role
100% remote job opening for an experienced property and casualty insurance professional to join a large agency as Commercial Lines Inside Sales Leader the for the Select Business division. The agency is a large, diversified company that can generate a lot of prospect leads internally. You will not have any cold calling responsibilities. You will have leads come to you through many different internal sources. The focus to write small business accounts personally and oversee the activities of the team as well.
- Work new business referrals that come from other producers as well as leads/inquiries from the agency’s website and those generated from marketing campaigns
- Work directly with potential customers to gather information about their business and insurance needs
- Complete applications and Acord forms; submit to underwriters for quotes as well as any online rating available through insurance company partners
- Prepare and present proposals to clients. Make coverage recommendations. Close on new business opportunities.
- Monitor and record team performance, assisting other small business agents with training, product knowledge, and sales activities
- Attend meetings and present to clients and internal partners as needed
Skills & Experience
- At least 3-5 years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience in a sales related role.
- Active P&C license.
