An independent insurance agency with deep roots in The Carolinas is growing significantly and is hiring Commercial Insurance Account Managers experienced with middle market and larger, more complex accounts.. Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the sales team with client retention. Provide insight and recommendations to address client concerns, coverage gaps, and ways to enhance coverage.
- Coordinate the renewal process. Gather information and review changes in exposures. Work with underwriters on pricing options and help prepare proposals.
- Work directly with clients on daily service needs. Answer questions about policies, billing, and coverage. Ensure all files are up to date and accurate in the agency management system. Audit accounts and request changes as needed with the insurance company.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum two (2) years of commercial insurance client service experience with an understanding of the full account management life-cycle.
- Broad P&C coverage exposure including GCL, property, commercial auto, work comp, and more.
- Active state insurance license.
