A top independent insurance broker is growing rapidly and hiring a Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to support the service team. Here are a few details on the role:

Job Responsibilities: Help account managers with daily policy management and renewal preparation for commercial property and casualty insurance clients.  

  • Gather and update information and files to assist with renewal submissions
  • Review forms, update applications, and ensure accurate files/data entry in the agency management system
  • Daily activity follow up and correspondence with clients and underwriters
  • Process auto ID cards, check policies and endorsements, request cancellations, and issue certificates of insurance

Experience:

  • At least one (1) year of commercial property and casualty insurance client service experience
  • Active state insurance license or able to obtain one within 90 days of hire

Job Specs:

  • Birmingham, AL. Hybrid work schedule available.
