About the Role
An independent insurance broker has an immediate need for an experienced insurance professional to lead the personal lines service team. A newly created position, the Personal Lines Service Manager role is a player/coach position where you’ll have Account Executive duties to service accounts but also lead the account management team. Your efforts will make a big impact on department profitability, client retention, operations, customer service and employee development.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Train, oversee, and manage workflows for the personal lines department
- Expand carrier and vendor relationships
- Team development, mentoring, and coaching
- Participate in department hiring
- Lead customer service resolution issues
- Grow the private client/high net worth platform
- Find opportunities to grow revenue in the existing portfolio and in partnership with the commercial lines division
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of personal lines property and casualty insurance industry experience
- Prior experience with leadership and/or management responsibilities
- Strong understanding of the service, marketing and client service for personal lines insureds including high net worth individuals
