About the Role
Remote job opportunity for a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant who possesses the expertise to work on large, complex, self-funded corporate benefits accounts.
As the lead point of contact throughout the year, you work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of benefits plans.
- Set long-term strategies with clients, making recommendations on plan design and administration to meet their business and financial needs
- Lead the renewal process and closely partner with underwriters to develop creative strategies for group medical and ancillary benefits programs
- Address critical customer issues and help the account management team throughout the year provide consistent, high-quality service
- Seek out additional revenue opportunities with clients and referrals
Skills & Experience
- Requires extensive large group health and welfare service, marketing, and direct consulting expertise
- Deep self-funded technical expertise with group benefits plans for accounts over 1,000 lives as well as market and regulatory trends
- Active state insurance license
