About the Role
One of the country’s largest independent insurance brokerages seeks an experienced Senior Commercial Account Manager to support a sales team in the Mid-Atlantic that’s writing a ton of new business. The producers need someone who can manage the influx of new business and use technology as a way to stay on top of deadlines, including managing renewals. The book is truly generalist with accounts in a variety of industries with all considered middle market with the average revenue between $25k-$50k with some reaching $100k.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients with inquiries ranging from coverage and billing questions to claims reporting and renewal preparation
- Thoroughly review policies for accuracy, providing timely feedback and information to and from clients and insurance company contacts
- Prepare client renewal marketing materials, submissions to underwriters, and proposals for renewal quotes
Skills & Experience
- Minimum five (5) years of commercial insurance account management experience working with middle market business insurance clients
- Active state insurance license
Job Specs
Hybrid schedule offered; 3 days/week working from home.
