About the Role
100% remote insurance job opening. The Senior Commercial Insurance Account Executive position requires complex account risk management placement and client service experience for a Top 100 independent insurance broker. Your time will be evenly divided between directing strategic renewal marketing and client management initiatives for a national practice focused on agriculture and agribusiness accounts.
Additional job details include:
- Quarterback the internal service process, delegating duties and managing workflows among the service team dedicated to your assigned clients.
- Handle external client engagement, serving as the primary account liaison and often standing in for the producer as the consultant for technical coverage, claims, and service issues.
- Be extensively involved in renewal preparation including account analysis, marketing strategies, and carrier negotiations to obtain the most competitive pricing and products.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of commercial insurance client service experience; retail agency experience is required.
- Active insurance license.
- Significant property and casualty insurance experience working in a high level client consulting capacity. Ability to take the lead over a substantial book of complex accounts as the lead Account Executive, directing meetings, presentations, marketing, and daily service duties as needed.
- Experience working with alternative risk and funding options (captives, for example) as well as accounts consistently exceeding $150k in agency commission. Prior experience working with agriculture accounts is highly desired but not required.
