About the Role

A terrific leadership opportunity for an experienced health and welfare insurance professional as Sales Manager, Employee Benefits. This is a management role where your knowledge, expertise, and coaching abilities will drive the success and performance of people on the sales team. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, and train employee benefits producers. Assist with developing and executing their individual sales plans. Join them on sales calls and during presentations. Provide support to help open doors, nurture new business, and close sales opportunities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and insight on employee benefits plan design and marketing options. Assist with solutions for escalated issues to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders including insurance carriers and other partners that can enhance the products and services the company can offer.

Skills & Experience

  • Successful track record of sales and management within the insurance industry with deep expertise on employee benefits products and programs.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth along with strategies for mentoring and managing high-performing teams.
