About the Role
An independent insurance agency in San Antonio is looking for an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager who can also help grow their practice. Because of this there are some unique elements to this position:
#1) There is a new business sales component, but they don’t foresee that coming through cold calling. More so, you’ll capitalize on referral opportunities through the in-house commercial lines and employee benefits teams along with the current customer base and other outside centers of influence.
#2) The agency’s vision also includes more work with high net worth accounts, and they have the insurance company appointments to support that. So, not only will the growth you help achieve come through more clients but also through higher avenue account premiums.
#3) You’ll remain the client service point person for all personal lines clients, existing and new. Their philosophy is consultative. It’s important that you can be client facing, sitting down to go through coverage reviews and discussing pricing and coverage options.
Skills & Experience
- At least 2-3 years of personal lines insurance industry experience in a sales or client service role
- State insurance license
Job Specs
Location: The agency’s footprint is concentrated in the San Antonio area however they see that growing to include New Braunfels and Austin. Because of this they are open to applicants residing in the area knowing if you live farther away it’s easy to come into the SATX office on occasion for client and team meetings.
