About the Role
Insurance job opening with a hybrid work schedule in Greenville, SC. Your focus as Employee Benefits Renewal Specialist is marketing. You provide assistance to the sales and service team on benefits plans for new accounts and existing client renewals. This is an opportunity to join a large insurance agency that is experiencing growth and needs more support with market analysis, proposal building, and placement strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with new business opportunities and current renewals
- Ensure contracts and policies are accurate and current
- Market all lines including medical, dental, vision, and disability
- Timely response and follow up with carrier partners as well as internal team of all client renewals out to market
- Run and distribute various client reports and prepare accurate spreadsheets
- Document activities and correspondence in the agency management system
Skills & Experience
- Minimum two (2) years of health and welfare insurance experience in client service or benefits administration
- Active state insurance license (or able to obtain one shortly upon hire)
- Strong presentation skills
- Great working knowledge of a wide range of group medical and voluntary products such as dental, life, and disability
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
