About the Role
The Employee Benefits Account Manager joins one of Texas’ largest insurance agencies. There are two positions available, one in Austin, TX and the other in San Antonio, TX. Both roles support senior producers on sizeable portfolios of mid-sized group health and welfare clients.
- Location: Austin or San Antonio, TX. Must be able to work in the office, although as part of the agency’s Return-To-Work program, post-Covid, there is a plan emerging to allow some work-at-home scheduling as well.
- Responsibilities: Relationship development with current clients and executing tactical service strategies (RFPs, enrollments, billing, claims, presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and renewal marketing). They will rely on you to keep action items moving through the process.
- Experience: At least five (5) years of group life & health insurance industry experience. Must have an active L&H insurance license and experience working in a similar client service capacity for a benefits insurance organization (carrier, agency, or third party).
