About the Role
As Employee Benefits Account Manager you will support the Key Accounts team with daily service duties and client engagement/relationship strategies on mid-sized groups ranging from 75-500 ees range. This position is open due to growth and promotions.
Job Specs
Location: Chicago- western suburbs. Hybrid schedule is required.
Responsibilities:
- Relationship development and renewal management with current clients
- Executing daily service strategies (preparing & writing proposals, providing quote comparisons, performing benchmarking & financial underwriting review)
- Creating coverage specifications, analyzing quotes & negotiating with carriers, and creating/presenting coverage analysis
- Presentations and leading enrollment meetings
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of group life & health insurance industry experience in client service (can be with an agency or insurance company)
- Must have an active L&H insurance license
- Some experience with self-funding
