Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with sales team to help write profitable business within an assigned territory
- Utilize internal tools and processes to identify risks through assessment, judgment, and analytics
- Travel occasionally to meet with agents in the territory to further outline appetites for growth
- Work with internal partners in loss control, client service, claims, marketing, and more to put together cohesive sales and marketing plans
- Stay on top of trends, continuing education, training, and development
Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of commercial lines underwriting experience
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of basic and core underwriting principles
- Strong communication and presentation skills
