About the Role

The Commercial Insurance Account Manager- Construction Risk Analyst job opening is with a large insurance broker seeking support for their Account Executive with policy management and service delivery. Here are some additional job specs:

Location: Washington, D.C. – a hybrid schedule 3 days/week in the office is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Take the lead on incoming calls, inquiries, and fulfilling service requests. Gather information on in-force policies, exclusions, and other related questions.
  • Renewal Prep: Review expiration lists in preparation for client renewals. Prepare and maintain schedules, create summaries and coverage illustrations, prepare proposals and presentations, etc.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update client files in the agency’s management system. 
  • Contract Review: Review contracts for construction related accounts for insurance compliance during the bidding process.

Experience: At least four (4) years of commercial insurance account management experience with knowledge of insurance programs, service, and renewals for accounts in the construction industry. Active P&C license is required.
