About the Role
This top 100 independent insurance agency has a senior client service hiring need, leading service deliverables and marketing initiatives as well as driving team performance. As Commercial Insurance Account Executive you are responsible for managing a $1M+ revenue portfolio in the Real Estate practice group.
Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing: A sizable portion of your time will be spent with renewal preparation. Your knowledge of insurance markets, rating plans, and underwriting procedures will be critical to organize, present, and execute successful marketing strategies.
Client Service: Another substantial part of your oversight will be client delivery. You are involved in the most complex pieces of account management work. The key is knowing how to balance ‘in the weeds’ duties with delegating tasks to your Account Manager.
Team Oversight: Keeping the process moving is an important part of your job description. Setting priorities, coordinating workflows, and ensuring the most efficient path to meeting client requests and needs alongside the CSR and account management team ensures a high level of team and client satisfaction.
Skills & Experience
- At least five (5) years of senior client management experience handling more complex property and/or related real estate risks
- Control over the marketing process with strong underwriting relationships and excellent negotiating skills
- Demonstrated experience leading a large, complex book and team members like Account Managers and Account Associates
- You can walk alongside a client through the whole life cycle of the account, from onboarding to renewal
