About the Role
The Commercial Insurance Account Executive supports the sales team in a senior, high level, and visible role with clients as a trusted advisor. You’ll provide insight into risk management, marketing, and renewal strategies as well as advise on coverage enhancements, service deliverables, and overall project management so the cycle between new account onboarding and policy renewals is efficient and successful.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client service point of contact to the insured handling a host of different issues that come up including changes in exposure, additions, billing and claims concerns, renewal preparation, marketing, and more
- Participate in client meetings pertaining to sales opportunities, mid-year reviews, and renewal discussions
- Be a resource for producers and client service colleagues concerning markets, coverage issues, service accuracy & expectations, and others that help build up the team’s capabilities and drive client satisfaction
Skills & Experience
- Significant commercial insurance client management experience with a deep understanding of large account programs including alternative risk financing, complex structures, loss sensitive, and such
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred; pursuance of continuing education like CIC, AU, or ARM is highly desired
- Broad coverage proficiency in general liability, commercial auto, large property, and workers compensation
- State insurance license
