About the Role
This Commercial Insurance Account Executive job opening with a specialty agency in Nashville is to support the executive producer with all new business and renewal marketing as well as serve as a support resource for the account management team. You will have more extensive and complex duties involved in servicing a dedicated book of business, but you will also be looked to as someone who can easily step in on escalated issues, areas where another team member is struggling, and help build depth of knowledge within the group.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish solid client relationships and manage the delivery of services along with answering questions from clients and managing day-to-day account responsibilities regarding coverage, billing and collections resolutions, policy changes, completing applications, corresponding with carriers, providing status reports, and following up on audits
- Provide input and support in order to develop and executive marketing strategies
Skills & Experience
- At least five (5) years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience in a similar account management role
- Broad proficiency with P&C policies like general liability, property, auto, and workers compensation is required
- Active state insurance license
