About the Role

A large, well-respected, Midwest-based insurance agency seeks an experienced Claims Advocate within its Commercial Lines division. Consultant, Advisor, Client Executive – this role is known by many titles because it impacts multiple parts of the sales and ongoing relationship management process. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • You embody the brand of the agency and how it delivers on promises during times of crises
  • You build relationships through advocacy, consultation, and education in a way even a producer cannot replicate
  • You prepare clients with action plans and downstream the process in advance of claims
  • You interpret coverage, fact find, report, and negotiate with external stakeholders to satisfy the clients needs and even anticipate them before they can
  • You directly impact retention and help during sales meetings to attract larger Risk Management clients given the resources and expertise you provide

Skills & Experience

While not required, experience working with a retail agency setting is going to be preferred. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of progressive claims advocacy, coverage dispute, settlement negotiation, and ultimately resolution experience and proven success.

Compensation, Benefits, & Perks

$85-100,000 + bonus + flexible hybrid work schedule
