This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines and explains data collection, use, and sharing practices of Capstone Search Group (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”).
The Policy, unless otherwise stated, governs and describes Company’s methods for obtaining and usage relating to all data collected directly through Company’s website (www.csgrecruiting.com), through third-party job boards or applications, opt-ins or sign-ups, email, or in conversations through phone call, video conference, or SMS messaging.
Company asks that you carefully read through the Policy in its entirety prior to submitting any application or personal information or making any information requests. By engaging with the Company in any way, you understand your information will be collected and used in accordance with the terms of this Policy.
If you do not agree with this Policy, we ask that you do not use our service.
Why We Collect Data
Capstone Search Group values your privacy. Given the nature of our business, collection of some personal information is necessary in order to best serve our clients. We make every effort to limit collection of data to only that which is necessary.
How Data is Collected
Company’s data collection is limited to information that is readily available on-line (company websites, social media, third-party services, etc.) or that information which is provided to Company or one of Company’s agents directly by an individual or agent of another business. Note: some data is purchased from third-party vendors for marketing purposes but all purchased data is data available online.
Information provided directly to Company can come from applications to jobs, either on Company’s website or through a third-party job board, email, phone call, text message, or opt-in through Company’s website.
Company’s website does not track cookies or collect individual personal information in secret. Location information from users of Company’s website is only collected in aggregate, not on a user level or with any personal data being gathered. (Example: Company can see how many people from the Chicago area visited a page but cannot see who or any information about the individual users.)
What Data is Collected
Company collects personal data associated with businesses and individuals as it relates to Company’s business of recruiting. With respect to both client businesses and individuals, Company collects and stores the following information:

- Contact information needed for communication
- Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Links to Social Media Accounts
- Information Regularly Included on Resumes Submitted to Company or one of its Agents
- Street Address
- City, State and Zip Code
- Current and Previous Employers
- Education History (Institutions and Degrees)
- Licenses or Professional Designations
- Information Relevant to Employment
- Compensation and Income Information
- References
- Non-Compete Agreements
- Employment Contracts
Company will, with consent of the individual and at a client’s request, on occasion conduct background checks for the purposes of employment. In such instances, Company will ask an individual to complete a background check authorization form through a third-party vendor which will require the inclusion of additional information, including but not limited to date of birth, social security number, driver’s license number, and any other information needed for the required checks. This information is used for the purposes of the background checks and is not stored or kept by Company or used in any other manner. A copy of completed background checks is stored for compliance purposes.
Company will never request personal financial information such as banking or credit card information from any individual.

Company will, as needed, invoice clients for services but at no time does Company collect or store any payment-related information, including but not limited to bank routing or account numbers, credit cards, or ACH information.
How We Use Data
Company uses data for the purposes of delivering on requested services, marketing of additional services or products, solicitation of referrals, requests for references, or general communications.
Company does not sell data of individuals or businesses.
Company does not share data of individuals or businesses except as it relates to normal business practices which include the introduction of individuals and businesses to one another for the purposes of exploring employment or hiring.
Data Protection
Company uses industry-standard security measures to protect all collected data. All data collected and stored by Company is stored on secured servers and access to stored data is restricted to authorized personnel. Data is stored until it is deemed no longer useful in accordance with the usage outlined in this Policy.
Updating of Personal Data
Individuals, businesses, or their agents may, at their request, update their personal data with Company or one of its agents at any time by contacting Company or an agent of Company.
Opt-Out or Unsubscribe
An individual or business may, at any time, for any reason or no reason, elect to no longer have their information stored or utilized as outlined in this Policy. Any party who requests to have their data deleted may do so by contacting company at the information provided in this Policy. Company will delete all stored data relative to the request except any information or data Company needs to retain for compliance or legal reasons. (Example: past contracts, communications or activity relating to hiring, interviewing, or Company’s business practices).
Any party may also opt-out or unsubscribe from certain types of communication. For SMS messaging, reply “STOP” to any SMS message sent by Company. For any email, click the “unsubscribe” link within any email message sent out by company.
Company will, upon such request, make every effort to ensure data is deleted and/or communication is stopped or amended in accordance with the request made to Company. In such cases where Company purchases from a third-party, any email or other contact information for marketing purposes in the future, Company will make every effort to avoid contacting a party who has previously asked not to be contacted but all parties agree additional opt-outs or unsubscribing may be required.
No mobile information will be obtained from and/or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
