About the Role

The Human Resources Business Partner is with an insurance agency that requires qualified applicants to have strong knowledge of New York state labor laws. Other job specs include:

Scope of Role: Manage recruiting and talent acquisition, payroll administration, Human Resources compliance, benefits administration, employee relations and performance reviews, hiring, onboarding and offboarding, and HRIS management.

Experience: 

  • Well-rounded HR background with involvement in several areas noted above with particular emphasis on the recruiting process (sourcing, interviewing, and hiring)
  • Strong knowledge of federal and New York State labor laws
  • Experience with benefits administration and open enrollment
  • Experience with employee relations, performance management, and HR policy development
