About the Role
Lead client service teams in North Carolina for a large Mid-Atlantic insurance agency as Commercial Insurance Service Leader. Your responsibilities focus on maximizing internal operations, creating efficiencies, and supporting account management teams. As the team grows geographically and within the size and scale of their property and casualty portfolio, they will look for your guidance on ideal ways to meet the needs of clients and colleagues alike.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Be involved with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of client service staff.
- Promote opportunities for career development, continuous learning, and internal advancement.
- Focus on consistency across the service platform and help the teams adhere to agency’s Best Practices. Conduct audits and ensure compliance.
- Assist teams with escalated client service issues, managing workflows, and delegating responsibilities so workflows run smoothly and are appropriately balanced.
- Participate in internal sales and service teams, being a liaison to support collaboration and strengthen teamwork.
- Participate in client, vendor, and carrier meetings as needed.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum seven (7) years of commercial insurance experience with some previous team leadership or formal management experience.
- Active state insurance license.
