Hybrid schedule available from these locations in New York: Poughkeepsie, Middleton, Scotia, Utica, Saratoga Springs, Kingston, and Leeds.
Job Responsibilities: Customer Service Representatives help account managers with daily policy management and renewal preparation for commercial property and casualty insurance clients.
- Assist with preparation for current accounts during the renewal period
- Process changes online through insurance company websites
- Daily activity follow up and correspondence with clients, producers, and insurance company underwriters
- Process auto ID cards, new & renewal policies, endorsements, cancellations, audits, claims, and loss runs
- Update applications and Acord forms
Experience:
- Prior insurance experience with an understanding of commercial lines of coverage, policy review, the rating/underwriting process, and various pieces of the service process (certificate and ID card issues, Acord forms, cancellation requests, quote comparisons, data entry/file updating, etc.)
- Active state insurance license
