About the Role

If you really enjoy building and executing a robust marketing strategy within an assigned territory, this opportunity could be a great match. The ideal candidate is going to have experience working within a broker distribution model to create ongoing partnerships to sell voluntary and non-core products that include accident, critical care, hospital indemnity, and cancer. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work together with other sales reps on the team to build and establish relationships with key decision makers within retail agencies, consultants, and TPAs in assigned market
  • Create strategic relationships with internal stakeholders in other divisions such as underwriting, client service, processing, and more to ensure success
  • Help to inform and define the evolving supplemental health strategy, including strategic partners, enrollment firms, associations, and alternative distribution
  • Meet and exceed annual premium and sales goals
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, pricing, competitive intelligence, and more to establish expertise in the niche

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of previous group insurance sales experience, preferably within voluntary or supplemental product niche
  • State Life and Health license required
  • Existing relationships within the broker community in assigned territory a huge plus
  • Self motivated with strong track record of meeting sales goals and marketing objectives


$100-150,000+ total compensation, depending upon experience
