About the Role
One of Colorado’s largest independent agencies seeks an account manager experienced with larger accounts to join their Risk Management team as Senior Commercial Insurance Client Manager. Your work is vitally important to client retention. Paying close attention to account details and possible changes in exposures, rates, and other market conditions, you have a lot of engagement with clients to ensure all their service needs are met during and after the renewal cycle. Diverse account exposure is helpful as this team works in many business sectors including real estate, manufacturing, education, and more.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish solid client relationships and manage the delivery of services along with answering questions about coverage, billing, claims, and endorsements.
- Process certificates, auto id cards, new policies, cancellations, and financing.
- Assist with the renewal process. Gather updated information, applications, and loss runs. Complete applications and prepare submission packets. Coordinate communication with underwriters. Prepare RFPs, presentations, and binders.
- Identify important client needs as well as cross selling opportunities and effectively communicate those needs to the sales team.
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of three (3) years of successful commercial property and casualty client service experience in a similar retail agency role.
- Broad proficiency with commercial coverage forms like general liability, property, auto, and workers compensation is required.
- Active state insurance license.
Job Specs
- Starting salary for this role is $75k-$90k annually but may exceed this for qualified applicants commensurate on experience.
