About the Role
A Top 100 independent insurance broker with multiple offices throughout the New York and Tri-State area is growing rapidly with openings for experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Managers. This is a company with a track record of longevity and career advancement Here are a few details on the role:
Location: If within commuting distance to one of their offices in NY (both upstate and downstate locations) they require a hybrid schedule. They are also open to remote within the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT) as well as western MA and Vermont. You must be comfortable with traveling to an office for training and team meetings on occasion, as well as regularly meeting with clients on-site, most of whom are in the same 3-5 state region.
Experience: Minimum five (5) years of commercial insurance experience, with meaningful time spent with another agency in a similar client manager role.
Portfolio: This advertisement represents a couple different hiring needs.
- One opening works on small and middle market accounts across a variety of industries, each generating between $5k-$25k in revenue. These accounts tend to grow quickly and can be more service intensive.
- The second is in the construction team which requires expertise with contract review, specialized insurance placement, and an understanding of unique risk exposures for construction companies and large contractors.
Responsibilities: This role is on the front lines, working as the lead point of contact for clients and providing support on throughout the year analyzing coverage for gaps and improvements, begin to prepare renewals, and strategize on marketing plans as well as address various needs and concerns directly with clients.
License: Active state insurance license required.
