About the Role

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Examine, process, calculate, and pay claims ensuring filings, documentation and reports, etc. are complete and accurate
  • Assist supervisor with complex or escalated cases, to include investigating unnatural deaths
  • Process and audit beneficiary/owner/branch changes and maintenance
  • Assist with various performance management duties including auditing life and annuity transactions for various units
  • May prepare and audit death claim committee reports
  • Assist claimants, providers, and field agents with problems or questions regarding claims and/or policies

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous death claims experience with both life and annuity (qualified and non-qualified) products
  • Professional designations such as FLMI, CLU, RICP, FIC, or LUTCF a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Compensation & Benefits

$50-60,000 + full benefits package
