About the Role
Well respected specialty insurance organization in the greater Chicago area seeks Business Intelligence professional to support data needs for the business. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will assist with determining company data needs, structuring for analysis, and creating appropriate outputs (i.e. – key performance indicators, reports, and visualizations) for the organization’s decision makers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand and interpret operational data and business user requirements to support and enhance company wide data usage
- Create written reports to monitor the company’s metrics
- Use computer programming languages to create data visualizations in the form of charts and web dashboard applications
- Work with internal departments and staff to understand data needs and objectives
- Analyze and summarize operational data as needed
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or similar discipline
- 5 + years of experience in a role using SQL Server and/or Business Intelligence tools
- Experience with Power BI including building Power BI dashboards, Report Builder paginated reports, RLS, apps, and scheduling
Compensation & Benefits
$100,000 to $120,000, bonus, generous benefits package
