About the Role

Risk Management program specializing in the healthcare industry, home health and nursing homes, seeks Risk Manager. Firm works very closely with TPA. The Risk Manager is part of the in house claims team that is moving claims through for closure. They serve as an advocate and liaison between the healthcare facilities and TPA following up and seeing through next steps. This Risk Manager will be overseeing a team for claims management and claims consulting.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • On-Site Safety Training
  • Compensability Determination, Settlement Negotiation, Litigation, Reserve Review, Return to Work
  • Communicating with employers and insurance carriers to ensure that claims are processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Claims oversight and management

Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Thorough understanding of workers compensation laws and regulations, as well as experience working with medical professionals and legal teams
  • A bachelor’s degree and relevant professional certifications


Base salary $125,000 to $150,000
