About the Role
The National Sales Director – Insurance Agency is responsible for the strategic leadership of a Top 100 independent insurance broker’s commercial insurance and employee benefits production teams. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing insurance organization as a senior leader. Reporting to the COO, you will develop and manage all aspects of revenue generating operations. Duties & Responsibilities
- Model and teach sales behaviors (planning, prospecting, presentations and closing), helping producers to manage pipelines as well as meet individual and interdepartmental production goals
- Ensure an effective recruiting, hiring, and training process
- Coach and mentor a growing team, approximately 25-30 producers in the next few years
- Focus on organic growth and production accountability, establishing and monitoring performance metrics
- Create an excellent sales-centric culture
- Implement sales procedures, meetings, reporting, and technology utilization to promote pipeline development and maximize closing and retention success
Skills & Experience
At least 10+ years of insurance industry sales and leadership experience with demonstrated success developing successful sales teams, driving profitability, and expanding business operations
