About the Role

As Marketing Representative for this well-respected property and casualty insurance company, your role is to strengthen the independent agency network within the state of Tennessee. Rated ‘A’ (Excellent) by the A.M. Best Company, you’ll deliver on the company’s promise for competitive and comprehensive commercial and personal insurance products which are sold exclusively through retail brokers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Capitalize on growth opportunities by expanding the agency network or boosting written premium with existing clients all the while improving retention, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and promoting new P&C products
  • Provide training to agents on new programs, technology/rating platforms, and services
  • Develop individual agency plans setting financial objectives to include premium, loss ratio, new, and renewal policy count goals
  • Analyze agency profitability
  • Partner with Production Underwriters on new business opportunities and participating in joint sales calls

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum three (3) years of property and casualty insurance experience with duties related to underwriting, marketing, or business development
  • Existing Tennessee retail agency relationships
  • Ability to work independently
  • Open to frequent travel within central and eastern Tennessee
