About the Role

A newly created role, as Human Resources Generalist you are responsible for all HR functions as well as plans and procedures to serve staff at a nationally recognized insurance and financial services organization. The company continues to experience tremendous growth, and the need for someone with your expertise in employee relations who can also dedicate time to talent acquisition strategies gives executive leaders more capacity within their roles and creates opportunities for greater career development for you too.

Duties & Responsibilities

To understand the full scope of this role, key responsibilities are broken into percentages to give you an idea of ongoing, top priorities:

  • Manage talent acquisition strategies (40%)
  • Develop employee relations (20%)
  • Maintain employment and personnel policies and procedures (20%)
  • Collaborate with executives on Human Resources priorities (10%)
  • Ensure legal compliance (10%)

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required
  • At least 4-5 years of corporate Human Resources experience to include areas related to this role such as building personnel development plans, recruiting, managing/administering corporate benefits plan, HR strategy, etc.
