About the Role

Are you an experienced Reinsurance Reporting professional with a background in reinsurance and statutory reporting? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting while supporting our client’s reinsurance program. Your deep understanding of insurance company financials, coupled with your ability to research trends and identify root causes, will be key.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee or prepare standard monthly journal entries for reinsurance contracts
  • Assist in preparing monthly reporting packages
  • Ensure internal controls are followed and appropriate documentation is maintained
  • Support the preparation of Schedule F for NAIC annual statement filing
  • Provide input on financial projections and reinsurance program design

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of property & casualty reinsurance experience, preferably with a homeowner’s insurer or reinsurer
  • Exposure to XOL CAT, Quota Share, and Cat Bond agreements
  • ARE, CPA, and CPCU designations are appreciated and desired
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on ability to prepare workpapers to support transactions
  • Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivots, Macros)

Compensation

$150,000 + 20% bonus
