About the Role
A 100% remote, work-from-home job opening, the Employee Benefits Financial Underwriting Analyst joins a Top 100 independent insurance brokerage predominately supporting large group clients in New York and surrounding states. This role requires you to be well-versed in the self-insured market. Your responsibilities include:
- Marketing for new and existing clients
- Creating rate spreadsheets
- Sending out RFPs
- Preparing claim reviews, renewal presentations, and executive summaries
Skills & Experience
- Advanced Excel skills and general mathematical principles
- 3+ years of experience working with insurance carrier data reporting systems
- Possess technical knowledge of underwriting aspects such as plan design, funding arrangements, risk and rating components
