About the Role
A Texas based independent insurance and financial services agency seeks an Employee Benefits Client Service Supervisor. You manage the client service team and oversee all account management activity, focusing on a high level of client satisfaction and retention. Behind the scenes, you support team collaboration and development, skills development, and participate in strategic discussions with the sales and executive team.
Location: South Houston-Galveston area. Because this is a management position significant time working in the office is important, however the agency fully supports work/life balance and can accommodate a hybrid schedule that makes sense for everyone
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the client service strategy around employee benefit programs with the average account being 50-250 lives. Participate in year-end activities, aligning workloads and helping team members with renewals, open enrollments, and daily policy issues as well as serve as a key resource on benefits-related questions.
- Support revenue generating opportunities. Promote upsell, cross-sell, and referral strategies in concert with the sales team.
- Participate in hiring and recruiting activities including onboarding, training, and career development plans.
Experience: Qualified applicants have at least five (5) years of health and welfare insurance industry experience in client service stewardship. Active state insurance license is required.
