About the Role

A highly sophisticated, extremely consultative brokerage, you’ll join an insurance organization with an excellent reputation nationally in private client personal lines. As Director of Personal Lines Client Service, your responsibilities include the overall client experience, staff oversight, and team development and productivity. You play a crucial role in supporting the agency’s growth and strategic vision. This is a highly collaborative position that works in conjunction with internal and external team members.

Duties & Responsibilities

While your role is multi-faceted and blends strategic and tactical elements, everything you hope to accomplish centers on setting a standard of client service excellence. Not only does this build trust and confidence between the agency and its clients, but it also elevates the team’s care and attention to detail in every step of the process.

  • Oversee the personal lines client service experience
  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage the client service team
  • Optimize workflows to maximize efficiency and maintain a high quality of work
  • Be a subject matter expert on private client personal lines insurance programs, market trends, underwriting appetites, risk exposures, and claims
  • Personally service and maintain a modest book of existing accounts
  • Liaise with key insurance company and vendor partners in collaboration with operations and executive leaders

Skills & Experience

  • Strong high net worth personal lines insurance experience is required
  • Successful tenure working for a retail insurance agency in private client personal lines client service
  • Minimum two (2) years of supervisory/leadership experience

Job Specs

The company has successfully built a blended workforce, employing both remote and in-office staff which offers flexibility on where you, as the leader, work from. Specifically, the company is open to considering remote individuals in the Eastern, Central, or Mountain Standard time zones. Based out of the Northeast, expect quarterly travel to their home office for team meetings, possibly more during different times of the year as needed.
