About the Role
Join an independent insurance agency in Chicago as Director of Operations, working closely with the CEO and employees to support business growth. Insurance industry experience is required because you will be involved in all facets of the business including finance and accounting, Human Resources, operations, technology, customer service, and business development.
- Location: Chicago, IL with a hybrid schedule available for local applicants in a commutable distance. However, 100% remote, work-from-home can be considered for qualified applicants within the Midwest or Mid-South (IL, IN, IA, WI, MN, MO, KY, and TN). Expect occasional travel to Chicago.
- Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of insurance industry experience working in roles of increasing leadership responsibility with involvement in business operations, systems/technology integration, and finance/accounting.
- Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the agency, supporting employees and leaders within the sales and service team, accounting, IT, and more with issues that arise and helping to execute their individual performance goals. This can include everything from hiring and training employees to implementing new technology and reviewing financial reports.
- Compensation: $125k-$175k salary commensurate with experience.
