About the Role

Managing General Agency seeking a motivated commercial lines insurance professional experienced within new business underwriting support.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide best-in-class service and response times to our select agency partners
  • Data Entry into multiple internet based systems
  • Make, and follow-through with, requests for missing information from outside sources
  • Preparation of new and renewal quotes as directed by Underwriter
  • Review and handling of inspection recommendations and discrepancies
  • Process bind requests as directed by Underwriter
  • Review submissions information required to issue new or renewal quotes
  • Review renewal applications to confirm that information is appropriate to proceed in underwriting actions

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within commercial lines property and casualty insurance as an agency account manager, CSR, or underwriting assistant at an MGA or insurance company
  • Utilize time management abilities in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Excellent computer skills including typing proficiency and Microsoft Office proficiency with an emphasis in Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to work in a customer service driven environment

Compensation, Benefits, & Perks

$40,000 to $60,000. Bonus plan. Medical, dental, and vision insurance with no waiting period. Paid time-off in year of hire. 401(k) with employer match.
