About the Role

Leading specialty insurance provider seeks commercial liability claims professional to oversee TPA claims handling.

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct thorough coverage review and determination; evaluate exposure to the Company.
Proactively maintain ongoing case evaluations and litigation management.
Direct and advise Third Party Administrator (TPA) regarding claim handling and reporting.
Process reimbursement requests, pre-funding, and payments of vendor invoices.
Identify claims with reinsurance and provide initial and subsequent updates.

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree required. JD desired.  AIC, SCLA or CLCS designation preferred.
History of career stability with 5+ years of active litigation or adjusting higher exposure, complex Automobile Liability, General Liability, Employers Liability, Public Entity, Cyber, Excess, Umbrella, Umbrella and/or Construction Liability claims. 
Experience in multiple jurisdictions with an insurance carrier or Third Party Administrator.
Experience with all phases of claims litigation from inception through post judgment preferred, including complex mediations, settlement conferences and trials.

Compensation, Benefits, & Perks

$125k to $130k
