About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Lines, you are involved in several facets of client management, marketing, and personnel management at this Tri-State area insurance broker as Commercial Insurance Team Leader.
Duties & Responsibilities
- First, you support approximately four Account Executives with their client portfolio, ensuring their success managing relationships, obtaining critical resources, and managing deadlines.
- Second, you could also be involved in marketing initiatives, helping producers source outlets for larger, complex risks and being involved in carrier negotiations.
- Finally, you ensure the overall satisfaction of internal and external partners. While a skilled client executive yourself, the times where you’re client facing will be few and far between. More so, you focus on training and development opportunities that create opportunities to empower Account Executives and strengthen the client:broker relationship for all parties involved.
Skills & Experience
Extensive commercial insurance industry experience in complex property and casualty client management is required. Senior Account Manager/Account Executive experience with a retail insurance agency is the most comparable experience. Underwriting and marketing is supporting experience that will help you qualify for additional aspects of the role.
