About the Role
In this role, you will provide responsive, accurate, and effective claim service for clients throughout the state of Colorado. You will investigate, evaluate, and adjust commercial property claims from report to resolution. This includes establishing claim files, assigning field adjusters based off scope or severity, identifying and assigning needed experts, managing vendors, evaluating and applying coverage, determining liability and subrogation potential, as well as estimation and review of vendor work product on material damage to facilities, equipment, and autos.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with contractors and repair firms throughout the entire claim life cycle
- Conduct complex negotiations and choose/assign experts
- Recommend repair methodology, settlements, attending cause and origin and structural analysis inspections
- Prepare reports related to high profile claims activities, including excess or reinsurance reporting
Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of claims adjusting experience, especially with large, complex property, extra expense, business interruption, and builder’s risk
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience working with public entity risk strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
$65-80,000 + comprehensive benefits package
