About the Role

Leading insurer of physicians and medical malpractice provider seeks Business Development professional with experience in B2B sales.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional healthcare liability insurance solutions to healthcare providers
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the healthcare sector, including physician groups and medical practices
  • Prospect potential clients, conduct needs assessments, and present tailored insurance solutions
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare administrators, risk managers, and decision-makers
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings within the medical malpractice insurance market
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition of insurance products

Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 5-7+ years of successful B2B sales and business development experience within the insurance industry, specifically in medical malpractice insurance, carrier, or brokerage
  • Deep knowledge of medical malpractice insurance products, industry regulations, and healthcare risk management
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events

Compensation & Benefits
