About the Role

They seek an accomplished sales leader to oversee their sales desk, internal and external wholesaler teams, and overall strategy to strengthen current distribution channels and potential expansion into others.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and execute business plans to achieve sales goals
  • Serve as the face of the sales organization to promote and grow existing relationships with Independent Marketing Organizations (IMOs), key customers, and leverage industry expertise to cultivate and build new strategic relationships
  • Develop and own the distribution compensation model
  • Develop and execute sales initiatives and technology strategies aligned with corporate goals
  • Prepare budget and revenue forecast
  • Monitor the competitor landscape for products and activities to provide suggestions to the Product Development team
  • Serve as the primary liaison and consultant to Administration, IT, and Compliance functions in developing support structures and procedures for distribution of products

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of sales experience with increasing responsibility and leadership
  • Experience with a competitor and/or an IMO, independent channel, FIA, etc. 
  • Proven track record of sales success and meeting aggressive sales goals/objectives
  • Experience working with Life and Annuity products

Compensation & Benefits

$150-200,000 + bonus + full benefits package
